I'll always have fond memories of Aunt Helen. I remember visiting her and family as a kid when they lived in Wilton (Junction?). And I'll remember her as one of only a few of us in the family that enjoyed golfing! She always was ready for a conversation no matter what her age was! Will miss her but will always remember her. Helen was a Joy to have as a neighbor and friend. She was the epitome of grace, poise and savvy, well versed on all Worldly subjects and 'comfortable in her own skin'. No more than a few months ago she and I had a great conversation when she was out for some wheelchair fresh air with her devoted caregiver. Our thoughts and prayers are offered to you Sherri and all Helens extended family, as you celebrate and treasure marvelous memories of your Mom.

My Aunt Helen was a treasure to me! I'll never forget her wit and her spunk, as she had so much of both. I'm blessed with all the memories I have of each. I so wish I could have known her for more than six years. I'd love to call her up again, and hear another story from her vivid long ago past. Stories of her life and of my grandparents and great grandparents that she knew so well! Rest well Auntie you have truly lived a fruitful life. I will be here waiting to greet you when you come home to Iowa. All my love and hugs to Sherry, my sis. My thoughts are with you now most of all.
