Uncle Henry was part of what is being called the "greatest generation" and he certainly deserved the title, thou he would of scoffed at being called that. He was a testament for "The American Dream", a first generation American who lost his father and mother early in life and helped care and look after his younger sister. The start of a life full of caring, service, hard work, and humor. He was a man that set a standard that I judged my own life against many a time, and still do. He would take a vision/dream, add discipline, planning, self learning, and hard work and achieve his goals. The only fault that comes to mind was his generosity, he had a hard time saying no, not to bad for 96 years of living. On a humorous note, I will always remember his creativity in the use of vinyl siding, he could write a book on 101 ways to use vinyl siding around a motel!Anyone who spent time with Uncle Henry had their lives enriched. He will be well remembered and sorely missed.I think I will hang up my Yankee's hat and start rooting for the Red Sox's in his honor.Love and prayers to all,Mark Cable
