Henry Earl Webber's Obituary
Henry Earl Webber, III, 83, born in Nashville, TN on Sept. 11th, 1939, passed away June 20th, 2023, in Deerfield Beach, FL. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, and father.
As a young man he was a graduate of Sewanee Military Academy and attended the University of Tennessee. He would go on to be co-owner of the Gallatin Block Company with his brother in Gallatin, TN. He was married in 1962 to Loerita Perry Webber, to whom he was married for almost 60 years. Later he moved his family to Fort Myers, Florida where he became the Regional Manager for Florida Mining and Materials until his retirement. Once “retired” he decided to become a successful real estate agent in the southwest Florida area.
He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Forest Country Club where he resided for nearly 40 years. He loved hunting, fishing, and carpentry. He created Camp Earl at his mountain home in North Carolina for his (7) grandchildren and local children to visit each summer to experience his love for the outdoors.
He is survived by his daughters, Margaret Bickford, Lacy Taylor, Helen Ventura, Beth Webber and Kate Phillips. Son-in-laws John Bickford, Mark Taylor and Nelson Ventura. Grandchildren Grant and Sarah Bickford, Rachel Bickford, Josie, Mark and Andy Taylor, Vaden and David Ventura. Great granddaughter Lilybet Bickford, and sister Shirley Arrendale.
Preceded In death by his wife Loerita Perry Webber, parents Charlene and Earl Webber, Jr. and brother Charles (Chuck) Webber.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Fort Myers on Wednesday, June 28th, 2023, at 11am at Cypress Lake United Methodist Church. Visitation beginning at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cypress Lake United Methodist Church, The Parkinson’s Foundation or a charity of your choice in his name.
