I was so sad to find that Mr. Dorsett passed away in November. We were neighbors from 1969 to 1971 in Southboro, Massachusetts and always remember what a kind man he was and what a strong faith he had. He would hold Bible study classes for the neighborhood kids and being a Catholic I was amazed at how much he knew about the Bible because in those days Catholics didn't study the Bible. I was friends with Jerry and Carol and my Mom babysat for Andrew and Johanna. May he rest in peace. Bob Smith and family. [email protected]

Mr. Dorsett was such a kind man to my husband, Chaplain Kenneth Blunt, and me when we moved to Fort Myers and Ken became the chaplain at his hospital. He was a wonderful community leader and will be greatly missed. Shirley Blunt

Although we had not been in touch for a long while, I will always remember with respect Herb and how gifted he was in whatever he chose to do. Reading his accomplishments and community involvement show what a loss he is to the Ft. Myers/Lee County area. Having personally visited Mary Ellen and Herb, one always left feeling his kindness and singular intellect. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Dorsett many years ago as an employee of SWFRMC. Always was a very pleasurable and honorable man. Took many classes with Mary Ellen through fire service, and spoke with her often about Herb. He was a very caring and blessed person, helping others as a leader. A pleasure to have known him.
