Irene befriended my mom (Ginny) when we moved her into Cypress Point in 2019 and for that I'll be forever thankful. They became best friends over the past four years, meeting daily to head down to meals together. My mom, now in another facility having advanced to memory and hospice care, still mentions Irene name. It was a pleasure watching these two become dear friends in their final years. Rest in peace Irene. You were a lovely, smart, caring addition to my mom's life! ~ Jenn Faber
I met Irene when I worked at Cypress Point. We had long talks about Florida & she was quite knowledgeable about the different towns & cities that I was interested in visiting. She always talked about her family & children & told me about the Corkscrew Country Store which I recently visited. What I remember mostly......her laugh! Rest in peace my friend. ❤️ Bonnie
I remember playing cards with her, learning rummy and solitaire. I remember going to Sanibel, and doing puzzles. I remember having coffee with her on the porch in the mornings. I remember playing sudoku out of the newspaper when she was done reading it. I remember weaving potholders for her. She has been a big part of my life, and continues to be a big part of many of my hobbies. She will live on with love and happiness through our memories, and we will laugh together and tell stories about the things she's done. We all love you so much, Grandma, and we appreciate all 96 strong years you were here for us and loved us too.
