Still have a hard time coming to terms with you being gone. I’m trying hard to fill the void that you left. Never would try and take your place in the girls hearts. So many things that I would like to say but most of all is this. You and I have battled similar issues so I understand what you were up against. Know that as long as I can I will make sure that Chloe and Jordynn have that male figure in their lives that loves them and cares for them just as you did. You were a great guy, flawed but beautiful. We had a lot of great times id like to think, and even though life doesn't turn out the way we want sometimes, it was a privilege to know you. Ill look after your girls for you and Stacy. Last phone call I had with you, I was in the filed OCing and I wouldn't trade it for anything. My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family on the loss of your husband, father, son and brother. When a family loses somebody close to them who was as young as Jacob was, they have to wonder why did their loved one had to die at all. And even though the sting of death is hard to deal with right now for your family, the Bible gives each and every one of us the reassuring hope found at John 11:25, where Jesus promises us the resurrection, which he talked about and demonstrated while he was on the earth. This scripture allows us to see that death is not permanent and that soon you will be able to see your beloved family member again. Even though Jacob is asleep in death right now, he is not suffering and when he wakes up he will be in perfect health, living on a fully cleansed Earth and waiting to welcome back family and friends with open arms. I hope these words provide you with Comfort at this most difficult of times.
