Janet C. Hayes' Obituary
Mrs. Janet C. Hayes of Fort Myers, Florida and formerly of Sanibel Island, Florida, passed away peacefully in her home Thursday, May 25, 2017. She was 74. Janet was born December 16, 1942 in Staten Island, New York; the beautiful daughter of the late Edward and Rita Herring. In addition to working as a hairdresser and beautician, she worked with various retails sales positions throughout her career. Janet was a devoted wife, loving mother, dear sister and beloved grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Barnett Hayes (October 30, 2014). Janet is survived by her three sons, Gary Hayes (Tracey), Bryan Hayes (Jaclynne) and Todd Hayes (Jennifer). She is also survived by her sister, Alice Artale, nine grandchildren, Lauren, Kelsey, Sara, Anna, Daniel, Kyle, Tyler, Isabella and Elley. Janet also leaves behind her great grandson, Grayson. Memorial services are being held on Saturday June 3, 2017 @12:00 pm in the Chapel @ Fort Myers Memorial Gardens. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
