Joan was my friend from the Gulf Coast Writers Association. She was a kind and dear person and a very, very good writer. I will miss her as will all who knew her. They say no one is gone, as long as they are remembered. That will be true of Joan.
To know Joan was to love her. She was a wonderful person and I was so fortunate to have known her. She will be greatly missed. Love to you always dear Joan.
I have lost a dear Friend and mentor. Joan was my boss at Hitachi in Baltimore where I was working as a Temp. She came from NY to run the business there. They bought my contract out in 1980 and that was the start of a beautiful relationship. We moved to Fl 7 years ago so I was able to visit her more often. Love You Joan. I will miss you so very much.
I was so sorry to hear of Joan’s death. She was a wonderful, interesting, talented, caring person who was loved by anyone who knew her. I got to know her through my sister, Patti, when they had theater tickets together. Joan vacationed with our family several times in Ocean City, MD and we visited her whenever we went to Florida. Joan was truly one of a kind & I’ll miss her fighting spirit that overcame any obstacles sent her way. God Bless, Joan, we’ll miss you.
Fortunate to know Joan for a brief few years thru my sister, Di Saggau. Joan was a lady with a smile that would always make my day. Regards to her family at this very special time.
I am blessed to have enjoyed Joan’s friendship for over 17 years. We never had a cross word and had so many good times together. Trips to the theater, opera, ballet, and various week long vacations through her time share. We enjoyed and supported one another within our writer’s group, church work and other endeavors. There is now a void in my life that cannot be filled. Love you Joan.
I am so saddened that Joan has left us. I know that as she makes her final journey she is at peace. Miss you Joan!
