Remembering Joan at the closing of her home in Westbrook, CT. She was so lovely, even though our meeting was brief. We purchased her home in Westbrook, CT, a beautiful place, a few years ago. It was my first time meeting her. There was an issue with the transfer of funds, but she was so patient and completely unruffled. I felt like we were two of a kind! Everything went smoothly and it was wonderful to know she was heading to Florida to golf and enjoy life. Our sincerest condolences to you, Dick, and her family. In just the few hours that we met she left a wonderful impression. With greatest sympathies, Carolyn Mackie & Damian Wesoly

Our deepest condolences to you, Richard. May Joan's Spirit always be Free and her Energy be with you Forever. Blessed Be.
Joan was one of my profs. when I was working towards my Masters in Ed. @ WSC.She was a very sweet lady! Great sense of humor and very concerned about her students. My husband, Dr. Joseph Zegarra also knew her when he was @WSC and thought she was a "great gal"! We are so sorry to hear of her passing at such a young age.
