Joan and I were second cousins who found one another on Ancestry in 2017. We communicated through emails many times since then,… until 2025. We also followed one another on FB. Because her grandmother and my grandfather were siblings in Edam, Saskatchewan, Canada we had lots to talk about. We spoke on many topics and shared many stories. Joan was very kind, uplifting and happy in our communications. From the cold in Ohio to the hurricanes in Florida and the -40 winter weather we have in Saskatchewan, Canada, we always had something to write about. I do hope Scott receives this message and an email I sent to his Mom’s email today (Jan. 6, 2026). My condolences to you and your family, Scott. It saddens me greatly that your Mom has passed.
