John H. Jack's Obituary
John H. Jack, 87, of Cape Coral, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 following a brief illness. He was born August 29, 1924 in Edinburg, IL and moved to Florida in 1979. He served the United States Navy Air Corps during World War II, where he received the Distinguished Flying Cross. Mr. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Katherine Curry Jack; his children: Larry Jack (Bonnie) of Wichita, KS and Linda Russo (Tony) of Oswego, IL; his grandchildren: Diana, David (Lisa), Allyson and Alanna; his step grandchildren: Christopher (Phoung) and Jason (Jennifer); his siblings: Vernon Jack (Evelyn) of Sullivan, IL, Shirley Curry (Robert) of Bokeelia and Paul Misiorek (Patricia) of Taylorville, IL. He was preceded in death by four other siblings: Dale, Kenneth, Tony and Dorothy. Visitation for friends will be from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday with funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
