Remembering John. His quiet, peaceful nature spoke volumes. In all the years I have known John, I don’t recall him uttering an unkind word.
He helped everyone, without bravado and often without needing to be asked. He would quietly jump in and just ‘fix it’.

As unobtrusive as John was, it was quite clear how deeply he cared for his Mom, siblings, Jeanna (the love of his life) and his ‘girls’. In any of our conversations, he would absolutely light up when he spoke about Alyssa or Grace.
A good, kind man taken too soon. His presence is sorely missed. He will remain in our hearts.

Hearing you passed has been tough, I can't help but feel I could've been more the friend to you that you were to me. The memories I have flooding my brain, you were my friend, the best man at my wedding, the first person I called when both my kids were born, and the first person I thought to reach out to when my daughter was expecting her first child. I have been remembering how much my Grandparents liked you, and how both my parents (who didn't agree on anything) always agreed you were a positive influence on me. It always amazed me how we could go months, sometimes years without saying a word, but the moment we did, we were those same moron kids from the early 90's. I can't remember how we met, I just know it was shortly after each of us moved to Cape Coral and into Mariner HS, I will always be forever grateful for the impact you and your family had on me. I love you Coppertop, you will be forever missed my friend!

John along with Matt, Kelly and Rob (Bub) were constant visitors to my home. I love them all but John was special. He was quiet, sweet and unfailingly polite I last saw him in August and was lucky enough to get a hug. I’m devastated to lose one of my “boys”. Too soon. My sympathies to his entire family,

This truly broke my heart you were the 4th person I met in Florida in 1992, Walmart was the place I saw you daily and you became a friend, a big ole grizzly bear with a long ponytail. So while growing up as a kid who liked watching professional wrestling, I was convinced by big John and my mother, of course that this guy legitimately was the undertaker and his coffin was a toolbox located in the back of his truck. I was told this in convinced this on a daily basis forever until I eventually started to believe it long story short this was one of the most positive influential people, and he is the last thing from anything or anyone who deserved anything of this nature, his energy radiated and was infectious. It was nothing but positivity and he was always looking to help. Whoever was in need. He was a great person a great man and I’m positive a great father so on so forth I love you and miss you and I’ll never be forgotten. I love you big John.
