One more little story... John and I was around 13 or so. I was over at his house in the kitchen. John grabs this new dinner plate and says; My ma just got these and they are unbreakable! Then he smacks it over the edge of the counter and it shatters into a million tiny pieces. The stunned look on his face was priceless! Then we both laughed like crazy ... John had the funniest laugh! His ma was less than impressed when she came into the room to see what happened. God bless all those who knew and loved John, he'll be sadly missed but if you follow Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you'll see him again in heaven! (admin; please delete the other)

I'm so sad to hear John had passed on. Sincere condolences to his Mom Elaine and sister Janice.
I met John in the 6th grade and we became best friends. We loved riding bicycles, mini bikes and later motorcycles. He was always funny and a dependable pal. Our interests shifted as we grew up and we went our own ways, then moved out of state and I lost track of him. He got my number when my Dad passed and called to express his condolences. He told me one time that since he didn't have a dad, he adopted mine, and I was glad to hear that. My folks always liked him. Recently we would call each other and chat. He had faith in Christ and talked a lot about it... I expect to see him again some day. I have a message from him on my phone from May 20th. Little did I know his time was almost up. Rest in Peace John!
