We are so sorry for you loss. I can't even imagine how difficult this must be for all of you. What we remember about Joey was his amazing personality. He will be missed. Stay strong.Love,Brigitte and Bud
My heart breaks for Joey's family. It just isn't fair for a young man, so full of potential, to be taken from them. I wish I had some words that would help ease your pain but I know that none exist. I have tears in my eyes as I write this because I know the pain that is in your heart. Do everything you can to keep his name alive. Scott Ferianc
There are so many wonderful things to say about Joey. I know he was the strongest and most courageous boy I know. He also was so polite, kind, giving, and happy. I could go on and on. All that had a lot to do by the wonderful upbringing and love of his parents and sister. He will be so missed by all and will remain in our hearts forever.LoveElaine Dietrich
Although I teach at Veterans Park, I never had the privilege of having Joey in my class. Nevertheless, I was always struck by his friendliness, his smile, his positivity, and his obvious courage in the face of all his health struggles in recent years. I know from the reactions of my students how much he was loved and admired by his classmates. I want to express my deepest sympathies to his family and friends. He is missed already but will never be forgotten. I am sure that upon his passing from this world into the next, he was greeted by his Lord saying, "Well done, my good and faithful servant!" Rest in peace, Joey!-Ken Kendall
