Stan, Tim and Jenna, our hearts hurt with you. My memory in your home a few years ago was of Karen’s beautiful spirit of caring for others. She loved her family, and how sweet to see her beautiful legacy in her children and grandchildren.
How special it was to be invited into your home to walk with your wife/mother in her last days. I knew I was with a soon-to-be saint and it was such an honor. While her life was taken too soon, I’m happy to know she’s in eternal peace in the place we all hope to join her! Love and prayers to all of you during this challenging time.

Karen and I worked together in 1982 at Edison College, we became good friends.
I think of her as such a warm and loving person, always ready to laugh and share her life, with humor, love and strong positive convictions.
She never missed sending me a birthday card, and must have sent out daily cards
to her many friends !
Leo and I were fortunate to go on vacation with her and Stan to Cumberland Island, Georgia, where we hiked all over the island and enjoyed out time together.
She was the best wife and mother, I feel blessed that I could call her my friend.
Karen, you will be missed by everyone who knew you.

Karen has been a dear friend of mine for 25 years when I met her in 1995 when our kids started kindergarten together. We enjoyed many laughs together over 20 years of playing bunco and her spirit, smile, and faith will be remembered forever. God Bless You Always Stan, Tim, and Jenna.

Stanley, I just received word through Parker from his cousin, George, and I am so very sorry for you, Tim, and Jenna but please feel all the heartfelt love and prayers we can send from Montana.
We know that Karen is a better place, living on in her family’s hearts until you are reunited. Be assured that Karrie and I are looking for a suitable tribute to make in Karen’s memory.

Karen was my kindred spirit. She was a very special gift to me. We shared a deep love of out Catholic Faith and our families but we also had a special friendship and could make each other laugh so hard we would be in tears! One of my favorite memories was when she and Stan came up to my Dads Camp, Joyful Hope, in Millry Alabama one winter and I took her on a hike in the woods. The sun was starting to go down and we didn’t have our flashlights so we were literally running down the trail to get back to the house before dark! Stan shot a deer that week too and we got to watch him dress it! My precious friend Karen, she had the soul of a saint. Her prayers for us are even stronger now! Love you sweet Karen.
