Kenneth (Ken) Thomas Baribeau - End of watch - February 16, 2021, Fort Myers, FL.
Born Wednesday, October 18th, 1944 to loving parents, Magdalene (Fleck) Baribeau and William Baribeau of Bottineau, North Dakota who have since proceeded him in death along with his beloved sister, Margaret (Baribeau) Kopp. Survived by his loving wife (a.k.a. Momma Bear) Carlene (Henry) Baribeau, stepdaughter, Kim (Phil) Lick, niece, Saralee Kopp Boitz (Jim), nephew, William Kopp and numerous other family and friends including the brotherhood of the Mpls. Police Department where Ken retired as a Lieutenant of the Mpls. Park Police.
Ken was a very social person with a love for music and any opportunity to strike up a conversation, but his passion was fast cars. When he ran an errand his wife never knew what kind of car he would come home with. Ken worked hard, played hard and lived his life like his favorite song “I did it my way”.
A Celebration of Life will occur in the twin cities at a later date. Notification to follow.
