My Dad (Kim Levy),
Was the kindest most generous man I knew. He was a fantastic son to my grandparents Mildred and Richard and made my mom Ruth the luckiest woman during their 40 years of marriage.

He was the ultimate family man and could not have been more proud of his 3 boys. Each of us saw him as more than our dad. We were best friends.

Whether in his professional practice as a bankruptcy attorney or in everyday life he was a sounding board for everyone.

Recently he became the best grandfather to Emma James and he loved his grandogther Bessie.

He leaves us all with an empty space in our hearts but helped teach us love, wisdom, and happiness for his 73 years here.

Dad, you will always be missed but never forgotten. We love you always.

I met Kim in June of 2026 while at Migis Lodge on Sebago Lake in Maine. We were both sitting on the dock, and Kim shared with me stories of his heritage, his children and his wife Ruth, his job as an attorney, and about some of the properties he owned. I learned a lot about him in those few hours that we sat on the dock. I found Kim to be unassuming, a fine gentleman, and someone I was proud to know. Up until that day I did not know about all of Jason‘s academic achievements, his awards and scholarships Jason had actually downplayed his academics to me on previous meetings. Kim was very proud of his children and family. I know that Kim will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Paul Panara

Kim heard me say once that I loved Cracker Barrel, and from then on, every visit he would try to work a trip to Cracker Barrel into the itinerary. Finally, on our last trip down in April, we went, and he insisted we order whatever we wanted, including the cinnamon buns! It was such a lovely breakfast, and Emma loved sitting in the rocking chairs next to Pepaw and picking out gifts with Safta.

Kim had a way of remembering the little things people mentioned. Someone would casually say they liked something, and before long a package related to it would show up in the mail. Emma loved Toy Story, so she received Buzz and Woody toys and Toy Story paper plates. Jason went through a phase where he loved Milanos, so Kim would send him big boxes of Milanos. Before Jason finally bought his Corvette, he was always talking about wanting one, so Kim mailed him a toy Corvette. That was his way of being thoughtful and showing he cared. He was always such a kind, generous man, and I’m so grateful I got to spend the time I did with him. So extremely devastated he’s gone.
