Laura taught me many valuable lessons about life, including how to play bridge and make hot-cross buns. I used to tell her that in so many ways she was exactly the kind of old lady I one day hope to be. The night my father called with the news of her death, I went to sleep feeling sad that there is one less person that I respect and care about on the planet, but relieved that Laura is no longer in pain. She will be missed.
Laura was a life long friend for me and very highly respected and loved by both my wife Marilyn and myself. She will be missed by ourselves and our daughters Dawn and Deanna. Whenever we visited Florida we made it a point to look in and spend time with this most wonderful lady. All our sympathies go out to her family and her many friends.
