Marvin R. Yeomans' Obituary
Marvin R. Yeomans, 72, of Ft. Myers, FL passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres, FL following an extended illness. He was born October 1, 1946 in Ft. Myers, FL to Dempsey and Frances Yeomans, who preceded him in death.Marvin was a United States Air Force Veteran, who served as a Jet Engine Mechanic in Vietnam. He retired from the United States Postal Service after 39 years and 11 months of service. Marvin loved fishing, traveling, camping, geocaching and spending time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed his time with his beloved granddaughter, Dakota.Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Barbara Yeomans of Ft. Myers, FL; two daughters, Robin and April (Mike); two step-daughters, Angela and Kristine; one step-son, J.J; one brother, Jerry Yeomans (Liivi); four grandchildren, Dakota, Ryan, Colin and Riley; as well as several extended family members and friends.A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Ft. Myers, FL. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 10:00 AM until the service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery where the United States Air Force will present Military Honors.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Ft. Myers, FL 33908 in loving memory of Marvin R.
