Mililani and George, My deepest sympathies to both of you on the passing of Mary. I was devastated to hear the news and happy I had recently seen her and been able to share many laughs as always. We crossed paths with the Chuns at many events in Elizabethtown across the years and always enjoyed chatting. Mary’s enthusiasm and broad range of interests was contagious; she has been and will be missed. For several years, we sent her chocolates to family members around the country. Just recently, someone asked about them. Our condolences to all the family.
North Hardin Class of 1964 would like to send our sincere sympathy to Mary’s family. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. She had such a great attitude when I last spoke with her.
Mary was a wonderful example of how important a positive attitude is in life. She and I were grade school friends in Rineyville, KY. We lost contact with each other over the years; however, a couple years ago we found each other and spent over an hour talking via phone. We caught up on each other’s lives. Mary loved George, her son and daughter, and was so proud of them. I had hoped to get to Ft. Myers to visit Mary and George, but life simply got in the way. I am so happy that Mary no longer suffers and is at peace in Heaven with the other angels. Rest In Peace, my friend.
