Mary Jane Conroy (Jane), 74, of North Fort Myers, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021, with her family by her side. Jane was a beloved Wife, Mom, Nana, Auntie, and Friend. Jane was born to the late Lorraine and William Sullivan Read Obituary
Aunt Jane was such a beautiful person. I have so many good memories of her. She was always so fun to be around, laughing and smiling the entire time. I can think of so many times we were all together listening to my Uncles and Aunts banter, getting louder and louder as the day went on. We will miss her so much. God bless you all and find peace in her memories.

It is with a heavy heart that I send sincere condolences to the Conroy Family and friends as we have lost a part of our Air Force Family that started in The Alaskan Air Command, Elmendorf AFB in 1971, continued into Air Training Command, and into PACAF, Hawaii. Winston Churchill, Quote " When does a family start? It starts with a young man falling in love with a girl. No superior alternative has yet been found." So my long time friend Patrick J. Conroy followed the guidance of Winston Churchill when he met Jane. And she became the "Iron Lady" keeping the family together as Pat went off on remote assignments, long TDYs, Alerts, and while she worked simultaneously within DOD. And due to her tenacity and determination grew a fine family with values and virtue. The strength of the military rests in those who guard the home front, Jane excelled in this task!
Jane set "the Gold Standard for her Family." It has been our honor to have known her and enjoyed her positive charming attitude.
We will always remember the good times, the challenges, and keep you in our thoughts forever as part of our Air Force Family!

Pat, Sean, and Laurie, So sorry for your loss. Jane was a lot of fun when with Family and Friends and over the years most of those Friends turned into Family. She will be missed and now she will be waiting for us sitting with Little Brian. I will not be able to put lilacs on Little Brian’s Grave it is too early in the season, but I will find the next best thing, Red Roses. Remember all the great memories and stay strong.
