Mary Elise Gonzalez of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away suddenly but peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2014. She was 69 years old.She was born on May 12, 1945 in New York City, New York, the beautiful daughter of Jessie (Neighbours) and Calvin Thompkins.She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children Frank Gonzalez Jr. and Shonteese Gonzalez both of Lehigh Acres. She also leaves behind a number of extended family and many people who were proud to call her a friend. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband Frank Gonzalez Sr.A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 17, 2014 in the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. A Memorial Service will be celebrated the following day, Monday, August 18, 2014 at 10:00 AM also in the funeral home chapel.
