Mary Catherine Soden Baumgartner, affectionately known as “Kitty,” passed away at the age of 66 on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in Fort Myers, FL, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. Kit Read Obituary
Being one of the Gremillion girls who were down the street neighbors to the Soden girls, there is just this connection that we shared with Kitty and her sisters. My heart and prayers go out to the Soden sisters as well as to Kitty’s dear husband and family who I know will miss her so much.
Kitty was a beautiful person, inside and out! Our college years were fun and I am so glad I was in her life. Just like this butterfly, she will be near you always. So sorry to Ed and girls as well as her sisters Betty and Ann, and all her friends.
Each memory I have of Kitty is a precious one. She was not only beautiful on the outside, she was beautiful from within. I was certainly blessed to have known Kitty. She will be greatly missed by so many that knew and loved her. 🕊️

Caroline and Katherine-It is so hard to believe your Momma is no longer with us. She will always be with us because of how many lives she touched with her laughter, humor, hospitality, and love of life itself. Kitty was so special and i will miss her so.
