Dear Mike and Family,Aunt Mary was such a wonderful person. I remember the family picnics atChestnut Ridge, the softball games, the jokester fathers (Jim, John, Gene), the food. When your family moved to Florida, we missed all of you. Fortunately,we were able to visit your mom several times when we would visit my mom and dadin Fort Myers. Eventually we visited with just the moms in Fort Myers and up inLargo. We always had such wonderful visits with Mary. She would give us updates on you and your family and would exchange Christmas cards every year.Of the eight McDonnell siblings and their spouses, Mary's departure leaves onlyone, John's wife Betty. Those McDonnell boys sure married well! Sweetnessgoes a long way and Mary is a great example of that.We still hold the family picnics at Chestnut Ridge on the last Saturday of July. We will remember Mary and you and your family when we meet this year. Jim and Colleen McDonnell
