MaryAnn Devos' Obituary
MaryAnn Devos, nurse, jewelry artist and teacher, passed away on February 6, 2016. After graduation from Mount Carmel School of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio, she began a 25 year career as a staff nurse, head nurse and nursing administrator. She also earned her BS in Management from Nova Southeastern University. After working part time as an artist in several media, MaryAnn launched her full time work as a jewelry designer and teacher when she retired from nursing. MaryAnn was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Mary (Heinen) D’Agostino. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth, her brother Charles D’Agostino, Jr, daughters Christine Sloan and Kimberly Vickers, grandsons Kyle and Braden Sloan and Tristan Vickers and granddaughter Cierra Vickers. A wake will be held at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, on Friday, Feb. 19 with the funeral Mass on Saturday, Feb 20 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in MaryAnn’s memory to Hope Hospice. The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of MaryAnn.
