Matthew Scott Bradshaw's Obituary
Matthew Scott Bradshaw, 43, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on February 23, 2026, at Cape Coral Hospital.
Born June 4, 1982, in Fort Myers, Florida, he was the son of Keith and Karen (Wall) Bradshaw. Matthew was a lifelong resident of Southwest Florida. He was raised in North Fort Myers and graduated from North Fort Myers High School. He later attended Edison College and went on to build a career in cellular phone sales.
Matthew had a deep passion for astronomy and the space program. He was an avid supporter of NASA and greatly enjoyed observing the night sky through his telescope, as well as watching space shuttle launches whenever possible. He also loved spending time outdoors and appreciated the beauty of nature. Fishing, bird watching, and traveling—especially taking cruises—were among his favorite pastimes.
Above all, Matthew cherished time with family and loved those closest to him deeply. He will be remembered for his curiosity about the universe, his appreciation for the natural world, and the warmth he shared with those around him.
He is survived by his parents, Keith and Karen Bradshaw of Cape Coral, Florida; his sister, Megan Lynn (Travis) Kline of Raymond, Maine; his fiancé, Rebecca Allen of Cape Coral, Florida; his nephew, Miles Kline; his niece, Emma Kline; his paternal grandmother, Betty Bradshaw of Lucasville, Ohio; his mother-in-law, Nancy Allen of Cape Coral, Florida; his loyal dogs, Bowie and Ziggy; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, Florida 33907.
Matthew will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
