My grandma was a funny, unique, artistic and sometimes sassy inspiration in my life. She taught me that it is alright for your fork to wander to someone else’s plate when you’re out to dinner (🤣).
Thank you for all of the memories, the life lessons you taught, sharing your love of art, and always reminding myself and your other grandchildren how special we are.

I remember running into both Maureen and Doug in the drug store several times while they were visiting Delaware. We had several nice meals at Kid Sheleen's together along with Sharon and Matt. Maureen was a kind, loving person who always put family first.
So many great memories of your mom and your whole family on Long Island. I always looked forward going to the house, walking down to the beach, your mom making lunch or dinner for us when we got back, taking care of us during sleepovers, telling us to “quiet down up there and go to sleep”. Makes me smile thinking about it. Always kind and caring with us. What a wonderful friendship our parents had.
I am so very grateful for my wonderful Mom. She taught me about many things: empathy, loyalty, kindness, friendship, commitment, faith, and how to be a Mom. I know that she is reunited with my awesome Dad, her sweetheart.
Spent so many great times as kids boating together! Now your Mom is with your dad and my dad getting in to trouble all over again. A beautiful soul, your Mon will be missed. Hugs to your family and may she rest in peace.
Aunt Maureen will always be my favorite Aunt. When I think of her I will remember her happy, smiling face, that she was always interested in hearing about me ... from how my family was doing, to what lipstick I was wearing. I was fortunate to share many adult years with her and Uncle Doug since we lived nearby ... from dinners, occasional holidays and even the dreaded hurricane madness. I am grateful for the love and family we have shared. She will be greatly missed.
A truly gracious host at the many gatherings and parties at the Smith home, Aunt Maureen always took the time to inquire how my side of the family was and what I was up to currently. She raised a large family of beautiful humans and leaves with them her smile and grace. Rest peacefully.

I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Smith’s passing. She was a huge part of my childhood. I am thankful for the many afternoons spent at her home. She always made me feel welcome and part of the family. I loved when she made her homemade iced tea for us!
My happiest memory is her dancing on my wedding video. The photographer captured her having fun – smiling, laughing and enjoying herself. This is how I will remember Mrs. Smith – full of life!

Every time I would call to talk to her or Uncle Doug I was greater on the phonewith it’s “Terri Girl” Going to miss that!!
I have the fondest memories when we were much youngerof going up to Oyster Bay for the holidays! Was always a treat to have all the cousins together.
Now Aunt Maureen and Uncle Doug are back together watching over all of us.
