Maynard always had a dry sense of humor. He was an honest city employee for many years. I belonged to Redeemer at the same time he was an active member. Because he was a member of the Masonic Lodge he arranged for Redeemer toworship there after they moved from their Broadway location. The lodge includedthe members in some of the social events they held there, such as the steak dinner. When he attended church he looked dignified. One July I was surprised to see himarrive at the Arcadia Rodeo in a cowboy hat. My prayers go out to his wife Alice, children and grandchildren. I'm so glad I met Alicein Publix last year and asked about how he was doing.Maynard will be greatly missed. Love,Nona Gronau
