Miriam Yaeger was one of the best people on earth! Your loss is my and our loss. She was so kind and caring. And, she could laugh about most anything. She was one of my "heroes"! She could light up a room full of people! My utmost sympathy to her family! Heaven has gained another angel and now Miriam has her wings!with love, Marilyn Barton
Myriam was my dear friend since 1974 when I came to Fort Myers and started as an RN in Lee County Health Department on her team. We shared the same birthday but not the same year. She was kind, generous, compassionate, and fun. Our last birthday celebration was on her 92nd birthday when 5 of us took her to the Olive Garden. We had 6 cupcakes and as expected Miriam got a chocolate one. We sent her home with the last chocolate one. We had such a good time. I treasure all the wonderful times we spend together. Miriam had the special touch on her cards with her crochet rosettes on them. Such a gift it was. I saved many of them. had tremendous respect for her and love too. I shall miss her greatly but God wanted her home and he called her there on Thursday, July 31, 2015. May she rest in peace in the loving arms of our Savior.Claire johnson
Naomi and Bill: There was just a short time Miriam was not herself. I treasure the times we had while our families were growing up; the many visits we shared after retiring; the help she provided when there was a medical problem; the fun things we did together when there were the four of us. We called each other at least once or twice a week since I have been in Texas. This I will definitely miss. Naomi, you will miss her but have no regrets for you did all you could possibly have done.
