Nell Scott Cornwell's Obituary
Nell Scott Cornwell of Fort Myers, Florida passed away with her loving family at her side on Thursday, April 14, 2016 following some recent health challenges. She was 91 years old.Nell was born on September 13, 1924 in Stuart, Virginia, the beautiful daughter of Nellie (Gray) and Donald H. Scott. She was a longtime teacher and the loving wife to Marion M. “Pint” Cornwell Jr. who sadly preceded her in death in 2012. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children Dr. Marion Scott Cornwell (Susan) of Fort Myers, Cathy Elver (Ralph) of Fort Myers, Thomas E. Cornwell (Nina) of Gainesville, and Becky Bess (Bill) of Fort Myers; his grandchildren: Milo Elver, George Elver, Heather Bettis, Michael Bess, Keely Brubaker, Michael Cornwell and ten great grandchildren.A Memorial Service for Nell will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 by Pastor David Pleasant Jr. at City Gate Ministries, 1735 Jackson Street, Fort Myers, Florida 33901, (239) 334-7747.
