Norva Rozilla McCracken's Obituary
Norva Rozilla McCracken was born in Emporium PA in June 23, 1939, the daughter of Rev. Adrian and Grace Everts. At an early age, she moved to New York where her father pastored churches in several areas of Western New York.
Norva graduated from Cuba, New York Highschool in 1957. She attended Houghton College in Houghton.NY .
Nova's interest in the medical field began when she was a ward clerk at Cuba hospital. Norva became a medical secretary in a busy practice in Auburn.
Norva and Rev, George McCracken were married in Auburn, NY on June 5, 1982, and spent the next 20 years in Central NY where George served churches on Mottville, Weedsport, Waterloo, and Caughdenoy. They retired in 2002 and moved to Fort Myers, FL
During her busy life, she has formed many meaningful relationships through numerous women's Bible studies she has conducted She loved to mentor young women in their faith Her devotion to her Christian faith has been an encouragement to many not the least to her husband.
Norva was preceded in death by her parents and., two infant children
She is survived by two sons: Malcolm Ross of Lawton OK, Bruce Ross, Alleghany, NY. Two sisters: Amy Church Barnwell, SC, Carol Esala, Centennial, CO Four step-children: Brenda McCracken, Spokane, WA, Rev.Charles McCracken, Mickleton, NJ, Richard McCracken, Dumfries, VA, Brad McCracken, Stanwood, WA. and by nieces nephews, and cousins and by many friends.

A memorial ceremony will take place at 2:00 PM Friday, February 12, 2021 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 4141 Deleon Street, Fort Myers, FL.
