Paul A. Ceresa, 68, of Fort Myers, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012.?áHe was born September 4, 1943 in Westerly, RI and moved to Fort Myers in 2008 from Hope Valley, RI, where he had lived for 39 years.?áHe retired in 2003 as Vice President of Operations for Washington Trust Company in Rhode Island following 30 years of service.?áWhile in Hope Valley, he was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and served on the Parish Council.?áHe also served on the Board of Directors at the Westerly Y.M.C.A.?áand was a member of Blessed Pope John XXIII in Fort Myers. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Mr. Ceresa leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 47 years, Jeanne Ceresa; his children: Karen Comforti (Joseph) of Westerly, RI, Brian Ceresa (Sara) of Louisville, KY and Peter Ceresa (Yvonne) of Martinez, CA; his grandchildren: Kayla, Kyle, Julia, Lauren, Gabrielle and Domenico.?áAlso surviving is his sister, Frances Knowles (Gilbert) of Pawtucket, CT. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Memorial services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.?á ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Westerly Y.M.C.A. or to Regional Florida Cancer Institute.?á ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555.?áOnline condolences may be made at: www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
