Paul Allen Rose's Obituary
Paul Allen Rose, Sr., 78, passed away on June 12, 2026.
Born on August 8, 1947, Paul dedicated his life to serving and protecting others through a distinguished 37-year career in law enforcement. He proudly served with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and the Springfield Police Department, earning the respect of colleagues and community members alike through his commitment, integrity, and unwavering dedication to public service.
Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen Rose; his children, Paul Rose, Jr., Sara Sheen, and Elizabeth Macasadia; his grandchildren, Bryan Sheen II and Tyler Sheen; his sister, Dixie Slack; and his cherished pup, Penelope.
He was preceded in death by his son, James Walter; his brother, Larry; and his parents, Paul Cyrus and Martha.
Above all, Paul will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his years of service to his community, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him. His strength, guidance, and love will continue to live on through his family and the many lives he touched throughout his lifetime.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a viewing on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens in Fort Myers, Florida.
A funeral service celebrating Paul’s life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Island United Methodist Church in Pine Island, Florida.
A graveside service and interment will take place on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in New Carlisle, Ohio.
Paul’s memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
