To our dearest Father-in-law, Grandfather and Father, It feels impossible to be writing this today. Just days ago, you were laughing and sharing the joy of your cruise with Jan. We never imagined that would be your final moments. We all spoke on the phone the day before you left on your cruise. The shock of losing you so suddenly and unexpectedly has left a void in our lives that words cannot describe.
But as we navigate this grief looking through the photographs, we find ourselves returning to those beautiful, cherished memories. Thank you for the memories that was surrounded by us that we will hold onto forever.
To me, Linda, you were more than a father-in-law; you had a caring presence and a wonderful father to your sons, raising them with the same kindness you showed everyone. To Sophia, you were the most loving grandfather, always there with a smile and a heart full of gold.
We are so grateful for the time we had, though it was cut far too short. You were a remarkable man, and your legacy of love lives on in your sons and your granddaughter.
We will never forget you. May your soul rest eternally in heaven until we meet again.
