Phillip Clemons' Obituary
Phillip Allan Clemons, 78, died peacefully on the morning of September 24, 2025, at his home in North Ft. Myers after a prolonged struggle against leukemia.
Phillip was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland and grew up in Martinsville, Virginia and the surrounding area. Phillip was the youngest of 3 siblings and began work early in life to support his family. Phillip married his wife, Kimberly, in 1982 and the two remained lifelong partners. Phillip and Kimberly welcomed a son, Phillip S. Clemons, in 1984. Phillip worked for many years in the furniture industry before retiring with his family in North Ft. Myers. Phillip enjoyed rock ’n’ roll and staying active, riding his bicycle daily, and reaching out to the homeless population in the community.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Kimberly; his son, Phillip; two grandchildren; his sister, Anne; two nieces, Karen and Elizabeth; and a nephew, Darryl. Phillip was preceded in death by his mother, Hallie, and his brother, Hugh. Phillip will be dearly missed by his family and loved forever and ever.
