I loved seeing Phil at the Nauti Parrot Dock Bar where I first met him and then at other live music venues. He became friends with a group of us and we were always happy when he arrived. He would dance sometimes and loved chatting. I was happy to be invited to his home to see his art work and his hand made ukuleles. Also was pleasantly surprised to be invited to his 80th birthday party. I also got to see him occasionally at Health Park Medical Center where he volunteered. I was so sorry to hear of his passing, he was a special person ❤️ and will be missed

Phil took a photo at Bonita Bills club when I played there. He did a painting of the photo and incorporated himself into the painting as the guitarist. It now hanging over my TV in my bedroom. A treasure I see several times a day.
