Phillip Michael Cuti's Obituary
Phillip Michael Cuti, born on April 25, 1941 in Muskegon, MI, to Michael Phillip and Carmella (Chiodo) Cuti, passed away on June 11, 2024. He was married to Constance Ann (Grimmer) Cuti from 1964 until her passing in December 1998. Phillip is survived by his daughters Kristina Casterioto (David) and Teresa Arroyo, as well as his sisters Donna Goryl (Bill), Elizabeth Cuti Sohasky, and Suzanne Deck (Larry). He also had two brothers-in-law: Art and Walt Grimmer. Among his stepchildren were Janice Thies, Dyana Jones (Stephen), and John Thies. Phillip had grandchildren named Amanda, Phillip, Giovanni, Sergio, Ceceilia, and Mattia, along with step-grandchildren Jeremy, Steven, and Kayleigh. Additionally, he had five great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Sadly, he was predeceased by his son Michael Cuti and stepson Steven Thies.
Phil was an active 32nd Mason, participating in Shriners parades during his younger years. He enjoyed playing tennis, swimming, riding bikes, exercising, and spending time with family and friends. His journey began as a door-to-door salesman, selling pots and pans. Later, he became an inventor, successfully marketing several products. As an insurance salesman, he raised his family. Phil’s passion for painting led to the sale of many of his artworks. His charismatic personality endeared him to many, and he lived life on his terms, cherishing every moment. While he will be missed on Earth, his memory will be cherished in heaven
