Phil was a coach that really cared about his players... When you would talk to him you could really tell he had an interest in you... not just as a baseball player, but also as a person. He was a players coach... He would always do what he could to help you and the team. Thank you for all the great instruction, and all the time you gave us trying to make us better. More importantly... thank you for the conversations, the joking around, and the good times in general.
