Phillip David Lowe's Obituary
Phillip David Lowe, 33, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 1998, formerly of Boston passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at his residence. He was born August 1, 1989 in Atlanta, GA.
Phillip grew up with baseball as a big part of his life. He loved watching games, began t ball at age 6, and became an excellent player. Phillip attended Evangalical Christian School, where he was co-captain of the baseball team. He played 3 rd base and was a pitcher for the team. Phillip also pitched for Salt Lake Community College as their closer. Phil, as we all called him, became a beloved and respected baseball coach. He was the pitching coach for Canterbury School for 2 seasons, and also coached for ECS, and coached many youth players all over Ft Myers. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and the baseball community. He was preceded in death by his three uncles, Stephen Madsen, Jon Madsen and Henry Madsen; maternal grandparents, Elmer C. Madsen and Marion L Madsen; as well as his paternal grandfather, Donald Lowe.
Phillip is survived by his loving mother, Trinka “Mary” Lowe of Fort Myers, FL; his father, Derek Lowe of Fort Myers, FL; two siblings, Taylor and Tanner Lowe both of Fort Myers, FL; paternal grandmother, Dianne Gravel (Doug) of Grand Rapids, MI; three uncles, Mark Madsen (Ginny) Jacksonville, FL, David Madsen (Marlyn) of Utah and Michael Madsen of Washington; two aunts, Lauranne Madsen of Jacksonville, FL and Deanna Delacher (Kelly) of Grand Rapids, MI; as well as many cousins, extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held from 12:30 – 1:00 PM, Friday, September 23, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3105 Broadway, Fort Myers, FL. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, September 23, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3405 Broadway, Fort Myers, FL. The burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in the Green Lei Estates Garden, Fort Myers, FL.
