I will miss you so much, Grandma! Thank you for the love and kindness you showed to everyone you met. I still can't believe you're gone bc the last day I saw you was August 20th, mommy's birthday, after we went to the cemetery to visit her grave. We went to dinner after at Olive Garden to eat and then came and visited you at rehab. We gave you our leftover cheesecake. You always had a sweet tooth 😀 you were due to go home not long after that and 7 days later you were with Jesus. ❤️I can't wait for the day I get to walk the streets of gold with you, grandpa and my sweet mommy who you raised wonderfully. I love you Grandma.Laura

Aww so sweet! Ramona was my Grandma. Thank you for your kind words. She always said she liked living alone and being independent. But I think after having been in rehab and making friends and being taken care of, she realized how much she craved that. I'm thankful she got to experience so much love and caring in her last days thanks to people such as yourself. We think she may have been worrying a lot (which she was known to do!) about going home alone and how she would manage. And maybe God decided to take her home.

To: the Jarvis familyI probably spent the most time one on one with Ms. Ramona during her last days. I was fortunate enough to have been selected (by God) to be her physical therapist. When she first came I had only buried my own mom the week before. Ramona was very much like my mother having all of the Fruits of the Spirit — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, so she was also a blessing in my time of need. Ramona didn't like to be alone or watch television, so she spent a lot of time talking to others in the rehab department. I'm sure God knew that she didn't want to be alone so he took her to his home instead of letting her go to her home which she was scheduled to do today. I am very thankful that I was able to know Ramona Jarvis and to hug her every morning I was at work. I know the Jarvis family was blessed by Ramona, and all of you have my sincere condolences! I have been praying for all of you, and I know the peace of the Holy Spirit will surround you. In God's love, Jody Armstrong.
