Please accept my deep and sincere sympathy.I waited tables at June's Sorority House at Indiana University and that is how I met thislovely woman.One holiday, I was hitch hiking on Hwy 421 heading home from school for the holiday.June's father was driving the family from Indianapolis to Chicago and June spottedme and had her parents give me a lift close to my home. Some time later, I visited June in Indianapolis. Hey, June's home (the Terkhorns in Indianapolis) was a fun place for us cousins from the country to visit. Nancy, my older sister, would pair up with June for girl talk and stuff while her brother Steve and I would go to their basement and run the trains and set up scenery on the tracks. Also our family would gather there for holiday celebrations with food galore & melons from our farm and more relatives coming in from northern Indiana. Memories:)) As years passed, we had our own families, our children grew up, and we'd meet up again at occasional weddings and funerals. It felt good to connect and to play catch-up.In all, from then to now, I'm thankful for those occasions with you. May you have that rest and peacefulness that eternity holds for His children. We have known June for many years here in Fort Myers during her good times and in her times of struggles with health. She was very intelligent and a wonderful person to be with. She was seriously ill for a long time, but continued a valiant fight for life. She dearly loved Jeff, her children and the grandchildren, and enjoyed every moment she could spend with them. She will be sadly missed by everyone, but free from the pain of her last years. May she now be at peace and her beautiful spirit always be with us.With sympathy to all,Beverly & George Westacott

Dear Jeff, Kris, Scott, and all who loved June,The wife and mom you love was an amazing friend to me, most especially when we were out being "wild women", and whenever I needed a sympathetic ear. I was so saddened to learn that she was suffering from ALS, and I'm glad she is now back in harmony with the universe, which she so richly deserves. My memories of her, and of all of you, are of nothing but joy. I wish you all peace, and hold you in my heart as you navigate your grief. Dear Jeff, KJ, Scott, and family:As you know June "Bug" and I shared many years of heartfelt joy and tears. Although I have much sadness and many tears at this time, I also have much thankfulness that my best friend was someone such as June. I was so blessed to know her. We had so many good times together. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and mattered more than anything in the world to her. She loved Jeff so very much and we talked about how fortunate they were to be in each others lives. Mercifully, her suffering here has ended. I know she is in a wonderful place now and I also know that one day I will see her again. When our deep sadness lifts, our beautiful memories of June will bring smiles to our faces once more. We are blessed. My love to all of you.

When we first moved to Florida, we met this great couple. Jeff and June were warm, fun and such "down to earth" people. It was one of those rare, instant connections and we always loved spending time with them. June and Jeff also got to know and love our daughter, Kristin. She and June shared a special bond. This is such a devastating loss of a wonderful woman filled with love, strength, great humor and faith. June loved deeply and was so loved in return. June-we were "new" best friends everyday & best friends forever—and now for always. Your beautiful smile-sense of humor & quick whit made our times together so much fun . The laughter we shared whenever we were together made people wonder how two friends could laugh so much- but we could and it is one of the many memories I cherish of our years spent together.
