Renata and John adopted me as their stepson after learning how close I am to her son -in -law. They were loved and will be dearly missed across country in Lake Tahoe.
I am so grateful that we we able to have many Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners at Jan & Blu's with John and Renate, and I will miss them. They were loving, sweet and kind and they adored their kids and Blu. When we lost our home, Renate provided us with many pots and pans. My parents loved playing cards with John and Renate. Mom told me they were fun to play cards with and were fantastic competitors! I am so happy that Renate was able to spend her last birthday with Janet and then go to heaven to spend the rest of the day with her beloved John. She will be missed.
