I am so sorry to hear of the death of Rex. He was a wonderful person that I had the pleasure of knowing in the 1980's. I know how much he loved his family. He was a caring man, a bit of a practical joker, was there when you needed him and I truly enjoyed his friendship over the years. I remember lots of good times at work at Cummins and being a neighbor down the road on the county line in Seymour. I am sure his family as I will cherish good memories. Sandy (Wehmiller) Benefield
Another spoke from the wheel is missing. He was a dear brother. always a smile on his face, willing to help others and depending entirely on the Lord for all his needs. He truly loved the lord and now he reached his heavenly home. He will truly be missed.

Rex was a wonderful brother in faith.. He was always there if someone needed help.Whenever I needed a shoulder to cry on there he was. He madea great peanut butter pie. All I had to say was, REX I SURE COULD GO FOR SOME OF YOUR GOOD PEANUT BUTTER PIE. A couple of days there would a knock on the door and it was Rex with a peanut butter pie. I recall Rex from my association with him as a brother in law. We spent time together, working on projects at our house, as well as the times I helped him build his cabin in the woods, the "old fashioned way"; using no electricity!! Native Oak lumber can be a challenge to handle, and to penetrate with nails driven by hammers! Grin.I recall hauling the logs up the road to a small sawmill that converted them to lumber. Then a gang of us hoisted and assembled.The last time I heard Rex visited this area, I had hoped to see him, but he had returned home before I was able to make contact. My sympathy to Ramona and Charity, as well as the kids and grandkids, and others who came into contact with Rex. A.C. Reeves
I loved my Uncle Rex. He was a good man and he loved his family. Will miss our talks and texts. Glenn, David, Brian and Glynna you all had a good dad he wasn't perfect but he loved all of you. Remember that.
