I remember meeting you when I was a lowly freshman in college. You were visiting Rich and there was a lively discussion on the issues of the day. You were always very thoughtful and considerate of others opinions. You cared deeply about our great republic. I greatly value the memory of us raising a glass all hoping for the best for our nation.

I remember afternoons by the pool in the summer on the boys birthdays with Dick,Helen, Rich, Becky Cullen and Andy. Swimming, playing and having picnic dinners in Round lake. Lots of fun and happiness! Dick was a great grandfather. He will be missed.
