Robert Brown's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Robert Brown December 29, 1955 – June 11, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Brown of Airedale, England, who left us peacefully on June 11, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on December 29, 1955, Robert was a beloved son, brother, and uncle whose warmth and laughter touched the lives of many.
Robert was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed fishing and loved to be by the water, relishing in the tranquility of nature and the thrill of the catch. His love for the beach often found him soaking up the sun, swimming in the ocean, and enjoying quality time with family—his greatest treasure. Travel was a passion for Robert; he loved exploring new places, but his favorite journeys were the one's spent in Florida and when he was back home in England, spending time with his best friend, Naomi and her family. Robert would visit often and stay 2 to 3 months each time. He was happy to be at the pool enjoying his daily swim accompanied by his "little best friend," Aurora.
Robert is survived by his sisters, Sheila and Norma; brother's-in-law, Brain and Norman; nieces, Heather, Lisa, and Claire; and great nieces, Aurora and Lauren.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation in his honor on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens from 1:30 p.m. until a Memorial Service beginning at 2:30 p.m.
