Bob and I go back a long ways to the times when we were actors in the various plays and programs put on in the L.F. Clubhouse.Bob always kept everyone laughing with his jokes and acting. Bob was in the Happy 90s Club and was very active in the group and will be missed by all of us!
Our thoughts are with you all. Although Stephen and I met Bob only once (during our 23-years-ago visit with newborn Allison), his vivacious personality was contagious and remembered!
BobÃ?¢ââ??¬Ã?¦..Thank you for al l the memories left behind. Dickie and I would never have seen half of where we all traveled. Nancy and I going in and out of stores while you and Dickie sitting on the benches talking and waiting for us. All the card games, especially Wizard, all the jokes and the love , you will be missed. Anna
Bob, such a true, genuine, kind soul and your appreciation for always looking for the humor in everything…just always had me, and I know many others!! The love and bond that you and Nancy have always had is something we can all can strive for. You will be missed, but will always live in the hearts of all that you have touched…and that's a big order!
Bob & Nancy, From the first day you showed us and helped us purchase our home across the street from you, you were warm and steadfast friends. Bob's teasing and jokish personallity still makes me smile. Your genuine warmth and friendship helped make our lives in Florida a most memorable time in our lives. God blessed me with true friends like both of you. Bob will be so very missed in the days ahead but the days he gave us and shared with us will remain with us always. Save a place for me in God's kingdom and we will share a laugh or two when we see each other again.
I was very sorry to hear about Bob. You both had been an example of what a marriage is – staying with each other through thick and thin. God did bless you with a wonderful husband and marriage. Charlotte Regional has been blessed with your dedication, and I was very blessed to have you both be a part of my life. Bob will be greatly missed but your love for him will continue to shine! Pass along his jokes! I will remember him and God willing, will see him again! Love you Nancy, Diana Hoffman
Two words tell what Bob Dreyer ws so wonderfully about. Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?â??He loved.Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã? Nancy, most of all knew that, for heÃ?¢ââ??‰â??¢d put glow into her life. When sponsors of a good cause needed a willing volunteer, they came so often to Bob for he loved helping others. His love of baseball had him into his eighties batting doubles , chasing flies, and running the bases in oldster softball leagues that played him even in distant cities. He loved entertaining others from his file cabinet of jokes or counseling novices betting on the horses. A lover of life, he battled death courageously and long, an example to both of us as we have faced serious illness. We will miss him, a memorable, loving man. Diana and Donald Stroetzel
