Robert A. Knox's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert A Knox June 16,
1950 - January 12, 2021. Most people knew him as "Bob". Robert is survived
by his high school sweetheart and wife of 52 years Louise Mahan Knox of Ft. Myers, FL; two daughters ,Tonya Knox Tator of Jacksonville, FL and
Katherine Knox Winchell of Fort Worth, TX; four grandchildren Madison ,
Morgan, Emma and Charlee ; and a great granddaughter and great grandson;
as well as many family members in Indiana.
Robert was born in Germany on an Army base and then grew up in Indiana before moving to Florida with his wife and children where he remained until his passing. Robert attended Indiana State University where he received a Bachelor's Degree. Robert was a bank executive from 1978 - 1992 when he started his own accounting, tax, business & credit consulting company. Robert was active in BNI, Rotary, Small Business Development, Junior Achievement, Midwest Food Bank, and teaching at Keiser University. Robert enjoyed his spare time swimming, as he was a competitive swimmer in high school and continued that love for the sport, enjoyed vintage cars, and the mountains.
Robert was very active with his family, providing those cherished family
memories. He was loved by his family and friends and will be missed dearly.
No formal services are planned.
