Bob Schmidt was a very good friend of mine and a good man. We spent many hours together, both on the golf course and socially off the course. Lorraine and I spent many joyful evenings with Bob and Dale anywhere there was a dance, especially if a polka band was playing Our trips to the Elkhart Moose were among the most memorable.
I feel very fortunate to have been friends with Bob and feel that I am a better man for having known him. Rest in peace friend.
