Mr. Robert A. Schmidt's Obituary
Robert (Bob) A. Schmidt, 79, of North Fort Myers, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020. He was born
October 19, 1940 in Milwaukee, WI to Leonard and Marie (Heiden) Schmidt. He was a United States Navy veteran, a member of St. Therese Catholic Church where he was very active in the Men's Gospel Forum, Knights of Columbus and the Benevolent Protective Order
of Elks in North Fort Myers.
Mr. Schmidt is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dale Marie Schmidt; his children: Mike Schmidt (Laurie) of North Port, FL, Mary Schmidt Ullery of Dickson, TN, Steven Schmidt (Tika) of O'Fallon, MO and Paul Schmidt (Denise) of South Bend, IN. Also surviving are his grandchildren: TJ,
Anthony, Amber, Brooke, Kendra, Tyler, Zach, Kaitlyn, Teegan and Emma as well as 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, James Schmidt in 1967.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Therese Catholic Church, 20115 N Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers, FL 33903 on Tuesday, March 3rd at 11:00am. There will be a celebration of Bob's life at 2:30pm at the Elk's Lodge, 2163 Twin Brooks Rd, North Fort Myers, FL 33917.
