I appreciated seeing Bob drive the trolley to provide rides from parking lot at McGregor Baptist Church to Hope building where we have monthly lunch meetings to encourage widows. Bob and Donna also came to my home after it flooded during Hurricane Ian. Together they shared a special ministry of encouraging others. Something isn’t lost when you know where it is. We know where Bob is.
Bob had a sweet heart, ready and willing to help anyone. He will be missed. Grateful to know that he is free now and enjoying the wonder of his heavenly home. Keep pressing on Donna as you will be with him again.
With sincere sympathy,
Lori Foglesong
I loved talking with Bob when he was driving the tram for WINGS. He was always friendly and helpful even when his shoulder was hurting. I kept him and Donna in my prayers each month. I will miss seeing him around McGregor. Bertha Aston
Bob was a kind and loving man of God. He drove our widows from their cars to the church building at every luncheon and called them his little angels. His kindness and smile warmed the hearts of many he served. We will miss him greatly.
“Mr. Bob” was such a good sport. I have so many memories of him jumping right in and joining whatever activity or idea we had. He was quick to buy and wear the gear from my kids’ school to show his support, whether it was The Lions or the Rebels. He would play cards with Cami like it was his job, learned how to build a donut wall for Lindsay’s graduation, and could talk fishing with Josh forever. I love how much he loved Tucker, too. Most of all, I loved knowing that he & Donna were serving the Lord joyfully together. Mr. Bob is a part of so many of our family’s memories-the big events and the little ones, too. I am grateful that he trusted Jesus with his life and know that he is with Him in Heaven. I can almost picture him there doing that laughing while clapping thing he did when he was filled with joy!
